I haven’t been watching American Idol, but dreadlocks are disgusting in general. It’s a wad of hair, oil, and dandruff along with whatever else your hair picks up along the way. Not to mention some people who have dreadlocks sometimes smell funky because of whatever is hiding in their hair.
I agree, I can’t imagine how awful he must smell with those nasty dreads. I hate to say it, but it doesn’t matter how good he is, I couldn’t vote for him based on that look. I know that makes me shallow and unforgiveable, but it’s just how I feel.
Boy am I sure thankful I refuse to have a teletunnelvision with this kind of nasty nappiness that is in public already !! Shave that nappy mop-with clippers and buzz buzz buzz, and that kid with the mop? yikes…how can you watch that anyway? don’t you all have anything else to do? like….chores? homework? floss the carpet, buff the drapes, hone the cds, and fill up the cat food dish? anything….? ?? alphabetize the videos ??? trim the dogs ear hairs????read soup labels for nutrition facts????
The locks are just being lazy. Wash your damn hair. By week 3 bet he has a re-do.
the younger singers are finding themselves, their hair represents immaturity.
