One Tree Hill star Sophie Bush has been recently spotted by the side of a new man, months after she separated from former husband and co-star Chad Michael Murray. People magazine reported that Bush has been hanging out in public with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who was also recently linked to American Idol champion, Carrie Underwood.

Romo used to ignore rumors about him and Underwood together, despite several paparazzi shots depicting them being more than just friends. Romo finally faced the media and put the matter to rest when he ended the relationship, primarily because of the football season. He basically wanted some time out to focus on his career.

The 27-year-old professional football player hails from San Diego , California and played college football at Eastern Illinois University . In 2003, he was recruited by Sean Payton into the Dallas Cowboys.

Bush and Romo were spotted together in Romo’s home state, Texas . They were first seen at N9Ne Steakhouse with some of the Dallas Cowboys, where patrons witnessed some physical friendliness between the two of them. This included back hugging and frequent petting.

The following day, the pair were spotted at Dallas Cowboys’ cornerback Terence Newman’s home, as they were checking out the new video game, Guitar Hero III. Unlike the other men, Bush did not participate in the video game excitement, but instead was content at watching Romo and his stage moves.

The question still lies: Are Romo and Bush officially together? So far, both parties have not answered this question, as representatives for both Bush and Romo declined to comment on their relationship. For now, we’ll have to be content with whatever the paparazzi is picking up. Taking into consideration the fate of the Underwood-Romo relationship, we have yet to find out if Bush can keep Romo’s eyes on her throughout the football season.

Romo and Bush had reportedly been visible together in Texas , making the rounds of several events and haunts late last month.

Although there has been no formal confirmation regarding the pairing, the two were said to be seen cozy in each other’s company for about a week. They hung out with a few of Romo’s teammates on the Dallas Cowboys squad at N9Ne Steakhouse, where patrons were said to have witnessed the One Tree Hill star and the football player getting physically friendly. They were said to have even engaged in some petting and belly to back hugging.

The day after the N9Ne Steakhouse spotting, Bush and Romo were at Dallas Cowboys’ cornerback, Terence Newman’s residence, to sample the new video game, Guitar Hero III. Although Bush did not personally take part in the game, she was said to have kept her eyes on Romo while he gave Guitar Hero III a whirl.

Representatives for both the One Tree Hill actress and the Cowboys quarterback have declined to issue any statement or comment regarding the rumored relationship.

Prior to his alleged romance with Bush, Romo had constantly been sighted and photographed in the company of American Idol’s Carrie Underwood. Despite several occasions together however, Romo regularly dismissed reports that they were an item. Eventually, Romo apparently ended their so-called relationship, citing the rigorous schedule of the football season and telling the Grammy-winning Underwood that he wanted a time out.

It remains to be seen whether Bush and Romo will have better luck this time in the romance department, than they’ve had with their previous celebrity partners.
