I saw the video clip on CNN and although many are viewing it as improper for diplomats and world leaders to act this way, I see it differently. It seemed to me there was some private joke there as Angela Merkel had a silly smirk on her face after Bush did that. Was this diplomats just being normal people and caught on tape, or was this improper and/or rude? Please give me your input!

For those not familar with this mediation the method is to visualize a person or persons as happy, healthy, and enlightened. This can be facilitated by seeing smiles on their faces, eyes slanted upwards, a glowing white aura, maybe a little wind in the hair, etc. The most important thing is you feel what it is like to feel happy, healthy and enlightened while projecting this emotion upon whomever you feel called to give such energy.

With the state of the world as it is, we need to do such meditations with certain world leaders in mind. Those in my opinion who need it most include Bush, Ahmadinejad, Olmert, Bin Laden, Kim Jong Il, Putin, & Hu Jintao.
RB, a little close minded don’t you think. Didn’t Jesus call on his followers to help make the world a better place. “Blesses are the peacemakers, for they will be called the sons of God.” Matthew 5:9
jackiedj8952, cynicism is the cheapest form of intellectualism.
thebigm57, not an optimistic answer but an answer with goodwill nevertheless.
